Walgreens is a known company for providing quality and affordable medical products in the market. Many people are relying to Walgreens when it comes to medicines and other health products. But many people have been greatly affected when the contract between Walgreens and Express Scripts has expired and it was not renewed. Under this contract, Walgreens will be part of the pharmacy provider of Express Scripts. But due to unknown reason, their contract was not renewed. This has definitely affected those people who have a health plan from Express Scripts but are relying on the products being offered by Walgreens. of course, it would be hard for them to look for other pharmacies that are certainly faraway from their place. This is a hassle on their part. Another thing is that the program for military which is the Tricare was also not approved by the Express Scripts. This can somehow provide medical assistant to the troops and military people.
