Baguio This Christmas?!

I hope I can be able to visit Baguio this Christmas. My brother had just mention a month ago that he wants to spend Christmas in Baguio with our family. If this is the case and if it will be possible with our hectic schedule, then we might spend a week there. But if it will have a conflict with my brother's schedule, I might end up visiting Baguio with my friends. I can't wait for this Christmas to come! :)

The Holiday Season

Few months from now, it is already Christmas. But I can already feel the ambiance of the said season.The wind blew cold, early evening and children singing Christmas carol are some of the signs of Christmas. The spirit of Christmas is here, we must get ready for a full preparation for the coming season so we must prepare the needs to feel the real spirit of Christmas such as the Christmas decorations such as the Christmas lights, balls, candy cane, gifts and most of all, the Christmas tree that gives life to the spirit of Christmas. If you have these stuffs, well you can feel the spirit of Christmas but the real meaning of this season is to share the blessings that we have to the other people who are needing a little attention from us. There are a lot of young children who need some charity from us. Even though Christmas will passed by, you must know how to share blessings by just giving a single coin would mean a lot to them, collect your belongings now and share it with the nearest charity or even to the street children out there and it will return it for a big cause.

A New Year's Life

Everyone is rushing to get their selves to the market. Everyone is busy purchasing different fruits and other products in the market. They are rushing to have the New Year celebration be special because it is one way of thanking God the year that passed in our everyday life. Different people are buying their fire crackers and fire works to settle down the New Year celebration during the count down. There are lots of people who are preparing their own gimmick to have a blessed new year. There are people who are making different noises to avoid such accident in using some fire crackers. The New Year’s Eve is a great event for everyone to show the each and every people that we are uniting to have a better life in a new year that we have. Different people are living across to their own lives and we must be forgiving our enemies and have the new life without any trials and fears. As we count down to one, we are ending up the current year to a new year to live.

Christmas Season

Christmas season is fast approaching. This is the longest holiday in the Philippines. It is the season where community is filled with love and joy. You can even see lots of people decorating their houses with different Christmas decors. But usually, children are the most excited person for these season. Most people even said that Christmas Day is for the children. The latter even believe the existence of the fictional character named Santa Claus. They thought that Santa Claus is the one who send gifts to them while they are asleep but

the truth is that the Santa who give gifts to them are their own parents and relatives.

Christmas day is being celebrated all over the world. Here in the Philippines, for 9 days before Christmas, people are attending morning masses that is called Misa de Gallo (Gift Masses). These masses usually starts around 4 am in the morning. After attending this mass, people buy the usual bibingka and puto bumbong. These are food that are definitely associated with the Misa de Gallo.

After such mass, most people walk through their home rather than riding through their private car or public vehicles. This is because it feels good to walk in the street and seeing some other people who have also attended the mass. The ambiance of the street is definitely refreshing. You can even see houses decorated with Christmas lanterns that lightens the streets.

We are definitely looking forward to the most awaited holiday of the year.

Happy Halloween!

Nothing is scariest than Halloween Day, right? There are Scarecrow, ghosts, white ladies, vampires, Dracula’s, and many more scary things in towns. Halloween is a kind of Holiday that is celebrated every first week of November.

Halloween Day is celebrated in varied ways. Some made Halloween parties by gigs, wherein youngsters wear their best and scariest costumes. Some disguises like witches in horrible looks, some wear bloody dress, some appear in uncharacteristic outfit but the most used was Dracula’s costumes, having red lips, fangs, paled face.

On the other way, Halloween is not totally all about horrifying things, Halloween Day is also a day for all living to reminiscence their dearest passed away ancestors. A day of solemnity, were all remembering all spirits, somehow. So., people during November one, was all gathered to their relative’s respective cemetery. They pray for them, peacefully.
