These intricate and handmade insect
sculptures made of matchsticks were created by artist Kyle Bean. The
said artist who is based in Brighton has this passion for reconstructing
everyday materials to turn them into a form of art. He says his work
fuses “our human relationship with science and technology and the
everyday materials that are around us.”
His artwork conveys minimalistic art
form. When he present his work, the insects were mounted in frames while
others where hung. For documentation of his artworks, he worked with
photographer Owen Silverwood.
