The Emerald Beauty of The Soca River

The Soča River runs from western Slovenia to northeastern Italy in one of the most beautiful and unspoiled valleys in Europe, springing from the limestone mountains in the north western part of the Julian Alps and quickly descending towards the sea and it is a 136 km long.

The Soča River is widely known for its clear emerald-green water and this is why it is called "The Emerald Beauty." People who love outdoor activities can definitely engage with mountain biking, water rafting, kayaking, paragliding, canyoning, and many more which the river and its region offers.
